Local Phi Beta Kappa Chapters

Allegheny College

The Eta of Pennsylvania chapter at Allegheny College was founded in 1902. The campus is approximately 1.5 hours away from downtown Pittsburgh.

Carnegie Mellon University

The Upsilon of Pennsylvania chapter at Carnegie Mellon University was founded in 1995. Located in downtown Pittsburgh, this chapter hosts several events open to the public every year. 

Chatham University

The Omicron of Pennsylvania chapter at Chatham University was founded in 1962.

Pennsylvania State University

The Lambda of Pennsylvania chapter at Pennsylvania State University was founded in 1937. The main campus is approximately 2.5 hours from Pittsburgh. 

University of Pittsburgh

The Xi of Pennsylvania chapter at the University of Pittsburgh was founded in 1953.

Washington and Jefferson College

The Kappa of Pennsylvania chapter at Washington & Jefferson College was founded in 1937. It is located approximately 40 minutes from Pittsburgh.

West Virginia University

The Alpha of West Virginia chapter at West Virginia University was founded in 1910. Campus is located approximately 1.5 hours from Pittsburgh.
